Secure your bib to your handlebars in a way that it is visible in case the timing chip fails to register when crossing the finish line.

Race Start: Each category will line up in front of the Freedhem store at their assigned time slot. If you are not a competitive racer, please allow those who are enough space to line up at the front. The race has a chip timed finish.
- Registration (sign-in) begins at 7:00am
- Full Freedhem start at 8:00am
- Freedhem 22k start at 8:05am
- Free Bird start at 9:00am
Aid stations/Assistance: Freedhem Gravel is considered a self-supported race. However, we are fortunate enough to have local families volunteer to offer aid along the course. There’s even a couple young entrepreneurs who will have a lemonade stand on the course again this year (Bring your quarters). These aid stations are indicated on the RWGPS routes. Participants should also have a strategy for transportation should they not be able to finish the race. If you have an emergency, please notify 911.

Photography: Freedhem Gravel has contracted Scott Ransom with MinnCam Race & Event Photography to be on course during the race so make sure you give him a big dusty smile as you ride on by.
Don’t forget to take a selfie in front of The Freedhem Store!
Finish: The race will finish at The Freedhem Store. Participants will receive a FREE Pint from Jack Pine Brewery after the race. Jack Pine will have an N/A Spritz as well.
Podiums and Drawings: Thanks to our sponsors we are able to offer an added bonus to our riders. Many of our drawing prizes come from our friends at Revolution Cycle and Ski. Minnesota Manufacturing company Onyx Racing Products has given us a set of their amazing silent hubs to raffle off. For our podium winners Bikers Wife Bread is providing delicious baked awards again this year, along with vouchers from Pedal Industries for out Top Contenders.
All participants are automatically entered in the drawings. Most prizes will be drawn while riders are on course. Riders can claim their prizes when finished. Look for your name at the prize table. The drawing for the Onyx hubs will be held at 2pm. Prizes must be claimed on race day.

The Expo: Come discover Minnesota based cycling product manufacturers at the ‘Minnesota Avenue’ Expo
The Party: After the race there will be live music by Sammie Jean Cohen, Andy D, and John Kerns from 11am-5pm, The Freedhem store will be selling Freedhem Dogs/burgers, and Jack Pine Brewery will be slinging beers.
