We’d like to introduce you to some friends of the Gravel community. Last year, on a scouting ride, we met Jeremiah from Veteran Valor Farm, who offered to host an aid station on their property. Riders not only received the hydration they desperately needed but were also treated to a mini petting zoo. Veteran Valor Farm has graciously agreed to host an aid station again this year, so be on the lookout for some cool Jacob and Racka sheep as you cruise down the road. Veteran Valor Farm’s mission is to combat veteran homelessness by providing a safe and stable environment for veterans to succeed. Check out their website: http://www.veteranvalorfarm.org. Oh, and don’t forget to register for the race: http://www.freedhem76.com. We’ll have their location noted on the final draft of the route, so riders and family alike can check them out.
